The position responds to the specific needs of the above sub-project and to those arising from the planned increase in activity for the R&D line ("Clinical trials in precision nutrition: GENYAL project") to which the sub-project belongs, clearly differentiated from the general activity of the Institute, due to its singularities: its outward orientation, as a platform for R&D support services for researchers (not only from IMDEA) or companies interested in precision nutrition, and the growing complexity and technical specialisation required by issues related to the valorisation, protection, transfer and, where appropriate, commercialisation, of the results of research or intervention or observational studies for third parties that are developed under the methodology of trials or studies in humans.

b) The management, within the framework of the aforementioned GENYAL project (and other sub-projects related to and integrated in GENYAL's line of research), of activities involving relations with companies, especially those linked to technology transfer, and collaboration with the PIs responsible for the sub-project and GENYAL in relations with companies, administrations and collaborating entities.

c) The coordination and legal and regulatory compliance management of technology transfer activities (especially patents), and the technology transfer (especially patents), technological cooperation with companies and R&D, linked to the transversal line of research.

d) The supervision and specialised legal coordination in bioethical matters of the Research Ethics Committee integrated in the GENYAL platform, which oversees compliance with scientific and biomedical ethics regulations for clinical, observational or interventional trials or studies carried out within the framework of the GENYAL platform, including potential participation in the aforementioned committee by acting as its technical secretariat.
