Description

The contract is linked to the development of the transversal line of research "Clinical Trials in precision nutrition and health: GENYAL project and its subprojects, in which activities carried out by one or more IMDEA Food research groups come together and are carried out following guidelines appropriate methodologies in the form of R+D+I projects or contracts.

Main functions technical profile: 

In particular, the R&D activities economic-financial management technician must adapt the ERP Fund@net modules affected to GENYAL's needs, so that it can receive the new economic-financial management information derived from the increase in activities and services planned for GENYAL.

She/he must also ensure the correct coordination of the economic-financial information of the research line of "Clinical trials in precision nutrition: GENYAL project” and its subprojects with the general management criteria of the Institute, in order to guarantee the coherence and consistency of all the information that IMDEA has to provide to third parties.

In particular, She/he must ensure:

- Individual budgetary and accounting monitoring of GENYAL's activities, in a manner consistent with that of all the Institute's projects.

- The economic information of the services and activities of GENYAL necessary for the elaboration, control and delivery of economic justifications of other projects.

- Attention to audits and requirements of financing organizations related to the activities of GENYAL.

- Internal audit of projects with external financing.

- etc..

Requirements

Required degree:

- Required degree: Bachelor's degree or University Master's Degree (level 3 of the MECES) in Business, ADE or similar.

Additional training to value:

- Specific training in the field of economic-financial management and other related to the functions of the position.

- Knowledge of financial and analytical accounting of public sector foundations, and related regulations

Required professional experience:

- Minimum experience of 10 years working in a financial department as responsible for accounting, with knowledge of the entire accounting cycle is required, of which:

Minimum experience of 5 years as responsible for the accounting management of public research or technological innovation centers.

- Previous experience in the use of ERP tools (such as Fundanet, SAP, etc...) is requeired

Additional professional experience to value:

- Experience in economic control, monitoring and justification of subsidies for R&D or technological innovation projects financed by regional, state or community public administrations.

- Experience in auditing financial accounts and R&D or technological innovation projects financed by regional, state or community public administrations.

- Experience and knowledge of the regional monitoring, control and economic justification systems for R&D&I subsidies of the Community of Madrid, the State Research Agency and the EU.

- Other experience related to the functions of the position.

Other merits:

- Mastery of office automation tools at an advanced level (Office package, dynamic tables, macro templates, forms and data analysis with Excel, etc.)

- Verifiable level of English (minimum C1 of the common reference framework).

Selection Criteria

After the deadline for submission of applications, and once compliance with the requirements listed in the second base have been verified, the Selection Committee will proceed to assess the documented merits included in the curricula vitae and to select the candidatures that best suit the established requirements; then a second selection phase will then be opened, consisting of a personal interview.

The personal interview will consist of conducting a face-to-face or videoconference interview that will deal only with the merits declared by the candidates in the competition phase and will be aimed at assessing the candidate's suitability for the position. The interview will have a maximum duration of 45 minutes.

Conditions

Type of contract:  employment contract for scientific-technical activities (art. 23 bis  Spanish Science Law) with a trial period established by law.

Dedication: full time (37,5 hours per week), flexible split day, from Monday to Friday.

Annual gross salary: 50,000 euro. 

Duration: indeterminate

Incorporation: immediately.
